What is Spain's Government?

Spain is a monarchy (which is a type of government that the monarch is the head of the state and the president, king, is a head of the government).

Executive power is vested in the government.

The people of Spain are free to work toward a large degree of regional self government.

Spain followed a strict and dictative policy. Through time, it began to follow a more liberal, democratic policy. These changes took place in the twentieth century.
