What is Spain's Economics?

In Spain, their money is called "euro". ($1.00 of American money is equal to $1.1932 euro).

Major exports - automobiles, chemicals, footwear, fruits and vegatables, fuel and refined oil products,
Major imports - industrial machinary, iron and steel products and plastic products.

Spain's economy is mostly agricultural.

Spain's economy became diverse and strong in manufacturing. From the 1960 to 1970 their economy grew. By 1973 they slowed down due to the oil crisis. Unemployment was high and so was the cost of living. The 1980s to 90s they were in a recession. Today 30% of Spain's industry is foreigned owned.
